 This
rugged instrument includes splash proof shields for outdoor use. It is
used for low level (microR) gamma survey. The detector is a 1" X 1" sodium
iodide (NaI)Tl scintillator. Sensitivity is typically 175 cpm/microR/hr
(137Cs gamma ). This meter over-responds to scatter and low energy gamma
which makes it more sensitive than any survey meter available. Range
selections include 0 - 25, 0 - 50, 0 - 250, 0 - 500, 0 - 5000 microR/hr. |
