Lightweight, Easy to Use - The ICS-4000 weighs less than 2 lbs. Its large LCD screen is back-lit for easy reading in any light and displays menus, instructions, data and spectra on command. Seven large buttons on the front panel control all functions. The controls are easy to use with either hand, even with gloves.Rugged and Reliable - The ICS-4000 is housed in a durable aluminum case that stands up to rigorous field use. The unit will operate in a wide range of environmental conditions.Long Life Battery - A rechargeable lithium battery pack will power the unit for up to 8 hours of operation. A battery pack and a charger are provided with each unit. An optional adapter is available for AC operation.Two Versions - The ICS-4000 is outfitted with an internal CZT detector. An alternate version, the ICS-4000e is available with a connector that allows the attachment of an external detector for specific applications.
