This reader provides the basic interface for the PD series Dosimetry Products and a computer via a standard RS-232 connection. The Reader is required to perform calibrations and initial set-up of all pocket dosimeters. This reader can also be integrated into new or existing security access control systems. PDMS software interfaces with the reader for automatic set up and calibration of the PD-series electronic dosimeters.

Features

POWER and STATUS lights quickly inform the user of reader and dosimeter status. The manual DOSE RESET will reset a personal dosimeter in a few seconds. It can also be disabled through the computer for situations where dose reset must be controlled. The smooth face of the reader minimizes areas for contamination to collect. The open interface allows workers to quickly place and retrieve their alarming dosimeters. Other features include:
