MODEL 14C RESPONSE KIT
This kit includes a general purpose analog
high range survey meter for gross counting and dose rates up to 2000 mR/hr
using the internal energy compensated GM tube on the x1000 range. Alpha,
Beta, and Gamma to 200 mR/hr is detected with the external 44-9 pancake
GM Probe. The model 44-2 high energy gamma scintillation detector will detect
gamma radiation down into the micro-R range. Audio with ON/OFF switch is
provided for with a built in unimorph speaker. Battery life (2 “D”
cells) is typically better than 200 hours.
Kit is supplied with a standard factory calibration, cable and 2 batteries
along with model 10362 case, Cs137 check source and holder, Model 44-2 and
44-9 detectors.
